A city storefront needs more than a pin. Customers use the profile to decide whether the trip is worth making.
Choose the Closest Primary Category
The primary category should describe the main business, not every service it could offer. Add secondary categories only when they match work customers can actually buy.
Use the Real Customer Entrance
Place the map pin at the door people use, especially in a large building or corner property. Add an exterior photo that shows the entrance from the sidewalk.
Maintain Regular and Special Hours
Update holidays, weather closures, seasonal schedules, and appointment-only periods. A locked door during listed hours causes poor reviews that no website copy can repair.
Publish Useful Photos
Show the facade, entrance, inside, staff at work, and what a first-time customer will see. Replace old shots after a sign, awning, or lobby changes.
Link to the Best Landing Page
The main profile can link home, while appointment or service links should reach the relevant page directly. Do not send every click to a general contact page.
Keep the Site and Profile in Agreement
Match the business name, hours, services, address details, and booking destination. Review both after a move, rebrand, schedule change, or new location.
